Canadian Short-track team eyes six medals against stiff Asian competition
Winnipeg Free Press - january 25, 2010
When Canadian short-track speedskaters rest their aching legs and settle down to sleep at night, their Olympic dreams might look something like this: team captain Charles Hamelin draped in medals, Kalyna Roberge challenging the Chinese for gold in the 500 metres and the relay teams waving their bouquets from the podium.
Canada's 10-member short-track team solidified its position as an international threat during two World Cup competitions this season, winning six medals at one and seven at the other.
They skate together, they party together, they are a family in more ways than one.
