Celski, Gehring on way to U.S. Short Track title defense; men's World team in limbo

The women quietly went about fielding their team Saturday to represent the U.S. in the Junior World Championships
It's all but official - Lana Gehring, Aly Dudek, Mary Grace and Vicki LaBourdette.

The men's squad, however, turned upside-down when its leader got knocked down in the 500 meter final of U.S. Junior Short Track Speedskating Championships/World Team Trials at the Bay County Civic Arena.
Luckily, J.R. Celski, the defending Junior champ, got back up from the hit from behind by Simon Cho on the first lap of the 500 meter A final and went on to win the event after the restart in 43.046 seconds.

WORLD TEAMS SET
With Celski JR, Jonathan Sermeno, Eduardo Alvarez and Robert Lawrence complete the team.
